Our Story: From Fleury Street to Villeray

Urban Palate (originally founded as Les Ustensiles on Fleury Street in Montreal's Ahuntsic neighborhood 2013, and later evolving into Papille Urbaine in 2019) has always been dedicated to celebrating the art of cooking, hosting, and fine dining. For over a decade, we have curated a premium selection of high-quality kitchenware, gourmet local products, and international delicacies for food enthusiasts across Montreal and beyond.

In 2022, we expanded our horizons by launching our fully integrated online boutique, allowing us to bring our curated catalog of over 3,000 products directly to doorsteps. Today, we proudly offer fast shipping across Canada and the USA, and we have successfully shipped our premium products to customers in many countries around the world.

A New Chapter in 2025: Visit Our Villeray Location

To better serve our growing community of urban foodies and passion-driven chefs, we officially moved our operations to a new physical location in 2025, located in the vibrant Montreal neighborhood of Villeray at 8141 Saint-Denis Street.

Our physical boutique and online store operate on a fully synchronized real-time inventory system. This ensures that whether you prefer to browse our shelves in person or shop from the comfort of your home, you have access to the exact same great products and up-to-the-minute stock availability.

Today, our Villeray location serves as our retail storefront, administrative headquarters, and local pick-up point. Whether you are ordering premium local olive oils online for international delivery or stopping by our St-Denis hub to pick up your curated kitchenware order in person, we are proud to continue our tradition of quality and culinary excellence right from the heart of Villeray.
